I am sad she's not back for Season 9, but this is one legacy that will always be missed (and if Teresa & Danielle can reconnect after 6 seasons, I can always hope for her stellar Friend Of return on RHONJ14).

And then the season went on and I was in awe as Siggy tore through numerous grievances outside of the cake (but somehow directly led by the cake) that then culminated in overnight retreats (and here is where I mention that I also love her brand of crazy seeping into her personal life ), accusations of anti-Semitism, storming the finale party in a cast just to prove a point (and plus points here for delivering on the physical humor ) and an apparent social media rampage. Yes there was definitely an inner crazy waiting to let loose, but when that cake got destroyed, I thought the extent of her crazy would revolve around raising numerous slights about how rude it was to ruin a custom-made cake for a birthday party in Boca Raton (can I specifically side-eye how many Housewives have a Florida connection and somehow we can't keep RHOM afloat? really Bravo?).
Add in a fantastic Kim D segment (yes she came to address the Danielle situation herself how exciting ) and you have a season truly worth watching.
It's also even more fantastic that basically every historic Danielle-involved summit that happened this season wasn't the focus in the best way, and the fact that all of the headline drama between Siggy & Melissa / Margaret started from a single cake being thrown at Boca Raton is some absolute RHOMelbourne-type top tier shit. the person who was friendliest with all the people she once had animosity with) is an extra layer of joy for me. the person who was most likely to speak positive of her from all her fellow OGs) + triggered by Dolores (i.e. I absolutely enjoyed how Danielle's grand return was handled (most of her main storylines all *somehow* got some form of closure / twist this time, even the random grievance with Kim D!, and that is special) and to have her main conflict be supported by Teresa (i.e. It was a near-perfect mix of the RHONJ-style continuity which would elevate otherwise-humdrum affairs and the petty drama which I've come to expect from all the Housewives seasons I watch moving forward. Facebook says these are the "first of many shortcuts" coming to Messenger this year, so we'll let you know when the company announces more.Just *look* at how that cover demands an additional face (*coughDaniellecough*).

The and "/silent" shortcuts are available today across Android and iOS, while the rest will be rolling out in the future. Trying to find the Messenger Pay and GIF panels can be a pain sometimes, so these shortcuts will help alleviate that frustration. While the tableflip and shrug shortcuts are definitely less practical and more fun, the others are useful if only because Messenger has become a crowded app in recent years. Finally, Messenger will also be getting "/shrug" and "/tableflip" shortcuts on iOS, which will post the classic "(╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻" and "¯_(ツ)_/¯" emoticons. From there, all you need to do is select from the options that appear and your chosen GIF will be posted in chat. Again, this one is fairly self-explanatory in that you'll type "/gif" followed by the search term you want to use on your GIF hunt. In addition to the "/pay" shortcut, iOS users will soon be getting a "/gif" shortcut.
